The Front Porch
In the early days of Salted Stone, and in the years building up to its launch, most of our best thinking took place either sitting around a fire pit or out on the front porch. There was a youthful freedom of thought, combined with an optimism regarding the unknown future, that kept our wheels spinning while we marinated big plans and dreamed big dreams. We hope that this blog will reflect the collaborative mind-meld that functioned as the seed for our business. If we're successful, it will provide a forum that manifests the spirit behind the team.
Data would probably confirm that it is uncommon for two high school friends to see the dreams that they spoke of as children unfold as realities during adulthood. But that's how it has been for us; fifteen years removed from the front porch conversations and the external landscape is radically different.

If you're inclined to learn more about how we approach online business, the thought processes behind our methodologies, our service offering or general philosophies ... then you've come to the right place. We like to think of ourselves as being equally comfortable in suits as we are in sandals, though we prefer the latter to the former. We believe ourselves to be moderately talented, surprisingly innovative and extraordinarily blessed.
This section of the website will provide us with an opportunity to demonstrate the distinct characteristics that define Salted Stone.
Pull up a chair, kick up your feet, and join us on the front porch.

CSS3: it makes the lives of web designers easier and creates a lighter initial load footprint, right? In a perfect world, sure, but when web designers are still required to compensate for IE7 and IE9 not having much CSS3 support, these handy advances in web technology are quite neutered.
Abstracted JavaScript Form Validator
Written by Stephen Yager November 15, 2011
There are many JavaScript form validators available on the market, but we've only been able to locate validators that require you to hard code the names of the form or form elements. We've created one that can be extracted out for usage in any form.
